John CobbWoodturner : After a career in finance, John has become a full time woodturner working primarily on hollow forms from salvaged wood. All the wood used in his work comes from local trees removed due to disease or safety by Bay Area arborists. This incredible wood is usually thrown into piles for firewood or headed to the landfill, however John is able to repurpose these once majestic trees into art forms that highlight the incredible grain and colors.
